Hey like the topic say's I need to know what type of i/c u using is it air-air or air/colant? I have a 3rd gen so I consider myself a boost junkie. thanks, khris
Man theres alot of 12aT questions today.....
I had a 12aT i used a stock cooler from a TII 13b it was frount mounted...
a common mod over here is to cut and shut two of these coolers together, as the cost of the 2 coolers plus welding is still cheaper than buying a equivalent sized and quality cooler.

The Jspec 12at does not have an IC.
Quite a few people have added a turbo to a 12a. The most frequent approach is to use a IC off a Gen 2.
However its more common to transplant a 13bt and use the stock IC from the TII.
Thus air/air is the prefered !C.

Adsy. I agree lots of 12at questions. Unfortunately most people think adding a turbo to a 12a makes it a 12at overlooking the low compression rotors and EFI.
Tried to buy a 12at in Melbourne to have a rebuild as you did but none around at the moment. I had a quote of $4k installed but not rebuilt. This would push it up to $7k with porting which looks unattractive.
