Anyone ever order something from NOPI online?

I have serious doubts about this, because if somethings too good to be true, it usually is.

I think I may need a clutch master and slave cylinder pretty soon in my 1984 GSL-SE so I've been looking around.
Somehow I ended up on the NOPI online store, and they have the Clutch Master Cylinder for 1984 RX-7 with Fuel Injection for $25.03..it says it's made by Tokico...
They have the slave cylinder for $17.62...do they have any idea what they're talking about or are these probably the wrong parts?

Yes I have, no problems. In the lounge just last week a guy posted about buying a clutch master cylinder from them and being very happy with it. From my experince (this is within the past month) they are good to do buisness with once you get passed their assosiation with all things "rice". And they do have IMO good cutomer service. As in if you seem to have order wrong parts (for example a front set of brake disk for car A and a rear set for car B) they will call you and make sure that is what you indeed wanted, they did it for me. Pretty cool I think.

Well now I'm confused as to waht to do

I was expecting everyone to come back and say it was the wrong parts...

I didn't really even know Tokico made stuff besides shocks/struts etc.

Do you know what generation the guy in the lounge bought the master cylinder for?

Tokico makes lots of stuff. I would say go for it that is an awesome deal. I bought rebuild kits for both slave and master recently and that total was around $10-15. Had I known I could get new stuff for not a ton more I may have done that. However, the rebuild is very easy and a lot of local stores have parts on hand. In my case time was a huge issue. (the car was going to be raced two days after the clutch pedal decided it wanted to stay on the floor.)

Tokico website even shows a box like those shown on the NOPI site.

Places like Advance and Autozone are charging around $70 for the master cylinder...I thought I found a good deal when I found it for $45 at Rock Auto...How in the world can NOPI sell it for that...

Nopi is a large distributor, kinda like a SAMS club for auto parts.

I believe the guy had a 2nd gen. I wouldn't worry about NOPI, haven't heard anything bad about them, except of course the rice, OH the rice.

I ordered the slave cylinder for my car from them... If I recall it was around $17. I don't know if it was made by Tokico or not, but it worked, so who cares...

Survey says: order it.

Well, since your car is sorta the one I'm modeling mine after I might as well get it

I'm picking about modeling my car after yours, but seeing your car is what made me want a 1st gen..I had been wanting a 2nd gen, but now I think they're borderline ugly (don't hit me!).

Tokico,KYB, and Clarion parts are usually used for parts on most Japanese cars. I remember purchasing a brake master for my 240 and it was made by Tokico.

Also if you have any doubts you can email them and ask because from my experience with them they are pretty quick at responding to inquiries.

Heh... Well thanks! Copy away... I just picked what I liked from other cars and put it all together on mine, so as I said copy away!

What's your plan anyway? Now you've got me curious...
