Anyone ever get a no-rust guarantee?

Getting estimates now on my new SE on paint and bodywork. Quite a bit of surface rust to get rid of. The one guy I've talked to so far says he can't guarantee the rust won't come back. I understand this, but I'm wondering if anyone else has gotten such a guarantee?

None I've ever heard of, most of the body shops out here won't touch rust let alone guarantee it.

Yeah, it's virtually impossible to guarantee that rust won't come back, so you're probably not going to find somebody who will make a claim like that. If you do though, let me know, because that would be a sweet deal!

Likewise over here, the wording is pretty vague. I question if it is worth it!

You said he 'cant' guarantee it wont return right? so warranty about what?

No one is gonna tell you that, cause it will eventually come back unless its fixed meticulously
