Anyone else install that headlight harness and NOT screw up their turn signals?

Anyone else install that headlight harness and NOT screw up their turn signals?

Okay, I'm really scratching my head over this one. I still cannot figure out what is causing my turn signal/4-way problem. It's obviously not my CPU, I bought another one and I get the same problem. Actually, with the new one, with my parking lights off, the turn signals flash quickly. The old one, the only way to get the turn signals to flash quickly now is only when my parking lights are on.

Anyways, I'm wondering if I'm having this problem because I installed new conversion headlights and used an aftermarket headlight wiring harness. Is the turn signal wiring somehow integrating into the headlight wiring? I've been overlooking the FSM and wiring diagrams, even changed out my front bulbs, and still cannot come to a conclusion.

I figured since both front turn signal bulbs are having the same problem, I figured it's a grounding issue. However, I didn't touch any ground wire when installing the headlights and harness. Unless cutting off the stock passenger side headlight pigtail (to make room for the aftermarket one; my car, my cutting) did something do it. Y'know, that whole "completed circuit" thing that some cars obviously have wired into them.

So, anyone else install a new headlight wiring harness and not have a problem with their turn signals?

Anyone know what else could be my problem? Could, for some odd reason, both my front turn signal sockets are bad and need replacing? And, for those of you who don't recall my last post about this, I tinkered with the screw on the fusible links and got a couple sparks from the connection. Yet, everything else on the car works, which is making me wonder about that headlight harness instead.

Any and all help would be appreciated, altho I seem to be asking a question that no one has an answer to. I'm still stuck!

turn signal problem isn't related to headlamps, probably have bad fittings, I had a similar issue and had to replace both fronts, they just plug in so its easy.

After checking through the wiring schematic again, and realizing that the headlight wires are different colors versus turn signals, I figured as much as well.

However, would my problem be the Hazard Cluster Switch? I'm looking at the wiring diagram right now and if I'm reading this right, the CPU goes into the HCS before being routed separately into the Turn Switch? I've found that the wires that are not lighting up the bulb like they should is GR (L.H.) and GO (R.H.) and both wires go into the flasher unit being replaced by the GB wire. Maybe I'm just confusing myself more than I should.

Anyone else think it's really both front turn signal sockets? I wouldn't doubt it, but how would both get affected by the...whatever it is that I did? I'm guessing it did happen because of those multiple sparks that I created from the Fusible Link Screw (and yet nothing else gets affected? Weird...)
