Ceramic would be da ****. It can handel a LOT of heat. They use that on the space shuttles as a heat sheld for re entry. How much are they, just out of curiosity.

Guy I knew used to work for Flowmaster. He said that the only motors Flowmaster mufflers were incompatible with was rotary motors. This was probably two years ago so they may have some that work now.

Well, due to the circumstances, I have to change the exhaust. It turns out that the side exit idea will not pass a safety. My new plan is to use a 18" long magnaflow muffler, a cherry bomb as a pre silencer, and a full 3" exhaust.

So far, the muffler has cost me $200 and the 8 feet of 3" pipe is $39. I am waiting for the U bends to come in. They will be about $60. In all, I will pay about $350 for the exhaust. (canadian currency).
