The last entry in the thread says he sold to a few first gen owners. I was wondering if anyone on the forum had done the conversion, and how much work was involved or how different it was from the instructions posted.

I got one, about the same as putting in a 2nd gen alt. Pretty much a bolt on affair for the GSL-SE minus the wiring, I did a custom job due to the high output.
