anybody buy from this company?!?!

http://www.jsamotors.com/catalog_pro...px?prod_id=168

anyone had any experience with this company?
im considering buying this 13B-T from them. full swap including un-cut wiring and ecu, tranny, etc etc. it seems the only tough part would be wiring it up correctly. but i can read a wiring diagram. it was my job in the army.
anyone wanna state their opinions before i buy so im not making a mistake. thanks.

From: We're all fine here now, thank you. How are you?
Nevermind about that I thought I was in the 2nd gen section

but

HI welcome to the forums. Look at the top of this page and you will see the search button, handy lil gizmo can find just about anything you'd like. There is also the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) at the top of the threads list with much of the info you will need. And lastly there is the archives(bold letters above time slips and dynos) and has alot of useful write-ups and talks about just about everything.

Basically if you can think of it, it has been covered at least 60times or more. Best to search first, read, then ask a question about a specific question relating to your general question, rather than be flammed for not searching or reading the FAQ.

I have never bought a j-spec, but from the ones I've seen, price is a little higher than others. I find it odd that they will not warrant any rotary, when most of the other importers offer some kind of warranty.

The S5 is a good choice for hp and mods, but does have a few others mods needed that the S4s don't when installing in a 1st gen.

What is your total budget for doing the swap and what is your hp goal? Buying the engine and tranny is only a small part of the expense. By the time the install is done and the rest of the car is upgraded to use the full potential of a 2nd gen turbo, it's easy to spend over 5k.

I already have an engine and tranny, yet I'm looking at 3k or more in doing the rebuild and all of the supporting drivetrain/engine mods. That doesn't include the tires/wheels/brakes/suspension or any labor as I do all of my own work.

If you haven't seen my project, the link is the last line of my sig.

My opinion on the subject?

Well... If I am ever to do a swap (and I want to) it would be an S4 TII swap. So go for it.

hmm, well. i'd like to thank you fcdrifter13 for your response. i do see that. im glad you also have the education level of a 5th grader as well. i did use that nifty search button, nothing came up for jsamotors. also, i remember asking for opinions of people who have bought from that company. but its cool, i appreciate you not trying to pwn me like we are in some kind of halo chatroom. but thank you for the welcome wagon. i like this forum. thank you for the help.

trochoid, thanks for the help.
i checked out your link. very nice, very well put together. have you found that wiring was tough? how are you liking it so far in the 1st gen? the last rotary i had was a FC TII. i hope to find it the same if not more exciting. because i very much liked the TII motor before the water seals ceased to continue. :]
by the way, your car is work of art. very clean.

I'm still months away from my swap, slowly gathering parts as the budget allows. Thanks for the compliments on the widebody, it's still a work in progress. Hopefully someday it will be done, but I have doubts, never could leave well enough alone, lol.

That price is a little high, mine was a bit more than 1300 after shipping, I'd shop around...
