RB headers aren't bad for the price if you redo the collector. I've never tried it, but you also might be able to use one of their collected FC headers, which have 2.5" collectors already. Then you could expand it out to 3" depending on your goals.

The other options are to build your own from scratch or pay big money for RotaryShack's (superb-looking) header.

Budget often means used parts. Keep an eye on the parts for sale section and eBay. I happen to have an RB header in the for sale section too.

i know mazdaspeed use to sell a header in the competition parts catalog for the street, but i believe they only sell a strict race header anymore.

Thanks, but it's probably better off with someone else on the forum, since I'm not planning on building another NA FB any time soon, and I'd really have to hack it up to get it to work in my REPU. Besides, I'd like to try a long-primary system. Like the RB streetport system except with a little more thought put into the primary lengths.

ISC Racing sells a fine 13B header

http://www.iscracing.net/2nd_gen_rx7.html

It makes very nice power. You will need your fab skills to complete the rest of the exhaust system, including he collector.

Last time I talked to Mike(ISC) was in April of 09 and he had only 1 header left and was not going to make another production run. Plus you would need to come up with a collector for his header.
Also, roomer had it that his header was a direct replacement for the Racing beat road race header on the FB Road Race/long primary exhaust, and it made 8-10 more WHP by only replacing the RB header.
LOL!!!
