Any idea on how to go about obtaining/fabricating body panels?

I'm having difficulty finding gen 1 body panels near me. A lot of people I find are just trying to sell the entire car, or they just don't respond to me(Facebook marketplace). Doing regular google searches I find some results but they're all on the coast of the United States and I'm in the upper midwest. If anyone knows a company that fabricates and/or ships body parts for gen 1 RX7's, then that would be great. Or if theres a site I don't know about that sells them that would work too.

I was able to get fenders new from Mazda a few years ago. It's worth checking with them first

Fenders are still available from Mazda last I checked. I believe the hood and header/nose panel is as well. There were a few places that claimed to be making replacement rear quarter panels but I have no experience with them.

Your best bet is to find a good restoration shop that can fabricate the needed patch panels, or get some tools and give it a shot yourself - it's not outside the realm of being a DIY repair assuming you have the time and patience for it.

What exactly are you looking for? The usual rot spots like lower quarter/rockers and rear wheel wells?

FB front fenders are still available new, SA ones are not. Have you tried calling Bob Rhinehart? He runs Rhinehart's Rotary out of PA and advertises custom cut body panels. I've delt with him before and even took a ride out there last year for a nice 1980 he was parting out. Pretty straight shooter.

Front Fenders are FA01-52-111D for the right and FA01-52-211D for the left, still at 1980's prices, list price is about $220 each at any Mazda dealer in the US

front bumper shows its available new still, but its 2023 priced $1100, and Mazda USA doesn't actually have any
rear bumper is NLA new, as are the doors and skins
