Question Gen3 'glass body or body panels

Anyone out there know of any companys that manufacture 'glass or equal type material Gen3 bodies or panels? Looking for a Gen3 body for a tube chassis solo2 project. All the Gen3 steel bodies I find are hit way hard. It would be less work if I could find an aftermarket body or panels. I've been out of "the 7 loop" for a while. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try http://www.sevensonly.com.

I'll ask at the track this weekend. There's some GT-3 SCCA guys running fiber body panels that also come out of CA. The cars are very cool, but ya gotta pay to play!

Try Mazda Comp

Try the Mazda Comp (MazdaSpeed Motorsports) these are the guys who supply most of the 3rd gen panels for the GT3 cars.

My friend just built a tubeframe 3rd gen imsa style body . It is a one piece nose, one piece tail, and sides. Excellent quality. Very beautifull car. He is in Canada on Vancouver island. I know he has all the molds. He has a few spares ready to go at a discounted price.

I think this is what you are looking for:

http://www.7parts.com/shop/makes.aspx?cat=2&id=22

$300 CF hatch
$700 CF front end
$800 CF doors (7.5lbs each)
$300 rear flares (fits 335's)

Mazdaspeed Motorsports lists all the body panels and also says that all of them are FOB from Jim Downing's shop. Does his shop make them???

Jim's shop makes all kinds of glass/CF stuff. They're masters at it. Pretty busy though and not much if anything in "stock"
There's a couple people on the forum that work there.

You can fit a 285/30/18 up front with the stock fenders on the FD. Do you need more tire? That is a 10" slick!

7Parts have a 1 piece front end (no hood) that allows wider rims up front. It is pretty reasonably priced... but lots of fab work is needed to mount it as it needs duzi (sp?) to attach it.

I think Feed makes front fenders $1500+ that are fugly and allow wider front tires.

the only thing that i don't like about the 7parts ones is the sharp ridge they have. i was hoping that i could find something that had a little more of a curve or even something like the pettit rears for the front. other than that i really like the single front piece. also this is for down the road when i eventually do a 20b and i would like to keep the same size tires all the way around. thanks for the help though, i'll keep looking.
