My choke works fine with the Mikuni, just like stock. It didn't until I replaced that temp sensor. Broke the wires on the old one, installed a new one and all is good now.

If you have stripped all of the vacuum parts of the choke off of the carb, all the choke will do is raise the idle for warm up.

yeah, u were right trochoid, the harness was unplugged, but now that i plugged it in the car gets like when u have a bad fuel filter, if u give it gas it goes slower, so i plugged in all the other plugs behind the carburetor and its ok. does no rats nest make the internal part of the engine like oil and stuff dirty, does it affect the engine at all in a bad way, besides making the exhaust stink lol nice car by the way trochoid

Removal does not make the engine internals dirtier. Makes the exhaust dirtier.
