Any decent sources for OEM hoods?

I struck gold and found an FB hood local for $20. After spending 2 days sanding and filling it I hung it up to paint and managed to drop it from about 4 feet right on the corner.

Not seeing much on ebay or CL lately. I see quite a few companies selling the overhauled ready to paint 2nd gen rx-7 hoods. Nothing for the FB crowd though.

Thanks

I wish... no such luck here in KS. I've got my name on a couple lists if one comes up, but we have nothing local.

Local place to me still shows them as available. Been meaning to drive over there and see what's for real and what's not. Hell buy all new panels for gold turd. Rather pay that than strip 3 bad paint jobs off.

Hey thanks! I tried ordering the hood. The site is odd though. Walks me through the buying process and I thought it would give me shipping totals and take my billing information. It never did either. Says I bought the hood and emailed me an invoice. Then says shipping is a separate charge. I’ll try to call them today. I’m guessing the site is total BS and they don’t have the hood. I’ll report back.

I have a first gen hood I'll sell you if you come pick it up. I'm 3.5 hour away. I have a bunch of parts. Come by and check them out.

you wouldnt want air pushing INTO the engine bay from there anyway. You want it venting out being pulled by the air going over the hood (pressure difference) to draw the heat out...
