Acutally, i was just checking http://www.gforceengineering.net/products.htm and according to him the pads are no good...eat up rotors etc. Check out the link!
Its not the first time i've heard things along those lines.

On my car, i've got KVR Carbon pads and they seem to be working great

I've had the HP+'s on my CSP car for going on 2 seasons now. They are great pads. When I put them on, I also put on new rotors and have'nt had a problem with scoring or other pre-mature rotor wear. Only downside is once they're hot, they are loud. Coming to stops at traffic lights you will get poeple holding their ears and giving you dirty looks. For a street car you might be better off with the HPS's.

I have them on all 4 corners and I love them! They can be loud when they get hot during track days. I believe that the squeal lets you know that they are working.

I can't speak to any rotor wear as I have not had any issues at all with it. Since putting the HP+'s on my RX7, I have switched to Hawk pads on both of my street cars too.

Hope this opinion helps.

I run Hawk blues on my track only first gen. No problems yet. My next set will be the Carbotech pads. Always looking for the better mouse trap.

I have HP+s on my seven and the only "problems" are the sqeuls and the dust. Other than that, the brakes are superb.

Ditto - But they are MUUUCH better than stock pads.
I also recommend the stainless steel brake lines for the full effect.

I also installed the HP+ pads (ordered HPS, but got shipped the 'track-day' + pads instead), and find them to be top quality, top performance pads with only slight downside.

The downsides? Heavy squeal until they're broken in, occasional shuddering at low rpm, low rotation speeds (could be the absence of stock shims), and EXTREMELY HIGH DUSTING. The dust is so bad that after only a 10-15 minute drive on freshly cleaned wheels, you can wipe your finger across the wheel and see black dust.

I was initally turned off by the dusting alone - and the squealing is somewhat annoying at times, but after using these pads for 2-3 months now, they really upped the stopping force that I can generate with the stock braking system.

When I installed the HP+ (race) pads, I also changed to SS braided teflon lines, rebuilt all front and rear brake calipers, and bled the system with fresh fluid. I had to replace the brake Master Cylinder a few weekends ago after the MC started leaking at the vacuum power assist module - very likely due to higher compression of the fluid at all 4 corners from the SS lines. Also replaced all 4 rotors with vented, cross-drilled KVR rotors and new wheel bearings in the front.

To say that the performance has increased is an understatement. These brakes work really well. The dust I have learned to live with.

I have s/s brake lines and HPS pads.

An excellent upgrade for street, and no noises or dust.

I run the blue pads on my 1st gen race car and they perform fabulous at the track. I've never noticed any squealing. They NEVER fade on me and always provide a good progressive feel to the pedal. They are dusty but I've never had a problem with premature rotor wear. You might want to reconsider a slotted rotor for the street. These will eat brake pads and don't do anything for you. If I'm not generating enough heat in racing applications you're not going to need slots for the street. Good luck.
