Hi, i think ive narrowed my high idle (2500 and then dies once under 2500) to the Anti Afterburn #1( i think the valve on then front passengers side of the carb that has electric going into it and 2 spots for hose both being pluged at this moment). could some one send me photos on where the hoses go. since my swap i had pluged both side of the valve, and cant find where the other side of the hose will go, its a 79 carb, so if any one has photos for this stock carb please send them i need help ive been told where they go but cant seem to fine it, please help and send photos thanks. o yah would this be a problem with high idle or am i just running around hopping it work sorry for the vauge message but im in the late stages of trying to get the car to run

 

My '80 carb is in the basement of doom right now, but it still has all smog equipment hooked up. No access to digital camera.

 

do you know what valve im talking about? or can see what hoses im talking about?

 

Yes I know what you're talking about. I just don't remember offhand where they are.

I might be able to unbury the carb tomorrow after work. Might take me 3 or 4 hours, don't have that kind of time tonight as I have to get up for work tomorrow.

 

eh, dont worry about it, im sure when i see the car on tuesday ill be able to find everything, but ithe the photos i have i can find were it goes, thanks though

 

can any one explain to me what this valve accually does? and if it doesnt function what will happen to the car?
