Hey Guys, check this out:

http://www.trader.ca/Search/Details....ategory=&CAT=1

Aparently it's a "standard 6cyl".... Either he did a swap, or has no freaking clue about his car.

"as is" / "not running" .. hmm.. if it still has the rotary engine, maybe it just needs some de-carbonizing or a carburetor tweak... could be a good grab for someone if they are in Ontario and want to check it out This is the best way to get a 7, fix up one for someone who thinks they're beyond repair when really they just put the spark plug cables on the wrong way

Absolutely. I bought my '84 GSL 5 years ago for $700 CDN because the guy didn't think it would run. He said he could keep it running but only until it warmed up and the choke went off. My uncle (who knows cars well) heard it for 20 seconds and says, there's no way that's an engine problem. He was right, turned out that the cap and rotor got all mangled and was almost completely inneffective. After I changed that it was good as new. Well, good as a 230km enigine...

You gotta love tose guys I bought a 86' GXL for $400 they said their brother was a cetrified mech. and couldn't get it to run. When I showed up in my other 86' rx they thought I was just plain stupid. Said I'd have to come back with somethhing to tow it with. I primed the injectors w/oil drug it about 100 feet and Bingo fired right up! drove bye waving as they stood in disbeile of how stupid they were.

Just yesterday a mech at the garage I got my inspection at said I was going to burn a hole in my pistions cause I was running too rich! These guys got certifications? I gotta get mine.
