This will be my daily driver while I stuff that Eaton into my other Rexbaby!

Sterling, I was thinking of you when I read the Sport Compact Car issue that shows how a rotary in a third gen dies. When you see the photo of the guts, a super starts to look good. All that heat does a mean job on the internals. On the other hand, after reading HP rating and seeing what people are getting, I am now thinking of getting a decent GSL with a dead motor and putting a 13b with a nice carb and doing a porting job. You are getting close to the boosted hp with this setup alone. Got your blower sitting in the shop yet? Congrats on the new ride.

Yeah Pics! I gotta get a digi. My brother comes down from five hours away about every other weekend. (He just loves the drive!) He's always got the lastest cool gadget (including cameras), and is the annoying, "O.K., Hold that pose..." guy at the family gatherings!

Anyway, I'll take pics and post them.

One thing I will do that I'm now sorry I did'nt bother with on this project: I'll be taking 'step by step' progress pics of the Eaton installation.

I guess I did'nt realize how proud I'd be for slapping this old rex together, and now I'm sorry I did'nt take any pics of the progress. (Afterall, it did take forever!)

Yeah, etherhuffer- On my workbench sits my helical tri-lobed rotors coated with oil and in a giant zip-lock bag...
With a thin layer of dust on the bag!

Soon. soon.

I know the feeling, man! That's pretty cool. Yes, please take lots of pics! You can never have too many.

Are you gonna drive it or the SCed one down to SevenStock?

I like hearing stories of 3 shitty cars that dont run that are merged as one and now can live again. It gives me a tingling feeling inside.

Are you going to intercool that super?

Yeah, you betcha!. I've calculated the maximum boost from the Eaton M-62, and I'm not happy with it. If I gortta fab every-friggin-thing myself, then it had better be for a good blower!
Gonna see 'bouta M-90.

I don't think any of this will come together until next summer.
But I'll work on all the parts during the winter.

Sweet!

Air to Air or Air to water (intercooler)? Air to water is obviously more effective but it lacks the intimidation of a honkin' large-*** intercooler sticking out of the grill!

Don't know. I need to do more research into my cooling options. I had kinda high hopes for water injection. I think with that, air to air would be fine.
I'm really not too familiar with the cooling differences between the two types of coolers, but the cooler I get that charge, the better.
