Another puzzling Dellorto carb Question

Alright Dellorto Gods out there. I have been reading and searching the threads out here. I am puzzled about two Dellorto carbs that I own. One is currently on a 1988 13B engine in a 1979 RX7. The other will eventually be put on my second 79 which is a 12A.

1. First Question - I installed a Dellorto on a 13B in my 79. Initially when I start the car and it finally warms up, my headers will start to glow a little red about two inches out of the flange. As it progressively gets warm it goes away. I am suspecting the carb is running very rich and progressively correct itself. Is this normal????

2. Second Question - The two dellortos are slightly different, one of them has the oil metering fittings and the other one doesn't. The one that doesn't have the oil metering fittings is on my 13B engine now and it has the normal idle screws i have seen in several other dellortos.

The second dellorto that does have the oil metering fittings has different idle screws, they go in, have slots for a screwdriver and they almost look like jets. Can somebody help me out here??????

Just started it again last night after I came from work and it is still doing the same thing. The header glow a little for about 10 minutes and then goes away....

IIRC, RB sold two different sets back in the days. one for 12-A has the metering lines and non for the GSL-SE since its in the intake manifold and block.
