Hey guys since my SE is my true project and I would like a fun ride while prepping the SE I am picking up am 85 GSL.
The car has only been off the road for a few months. Overall shap is decent. It has the "lovely" maroon interior, leather. The seats as usual for a 20+ year ld 7 are in ok shape, there is a bit of fading on the carpet, and the drain plugs for the floor pan are missing but I have spares from my parts car. The ebrake cable is bad and the clutch master cylinder needs work. All doable from my parts car. I even have some decent looking mesh wheels that need to be cleaned up a bit to throw on her.
There is a little bit of rust on the outer rear fender, but the inside is rock solid from what I can see. I have to go and start it tomorrow, which should be easy as it turned over nice and smooth. The fuel tank was empty so it didn't fire but he says it ran strong. Oh the only other thing that needed attention was the front bumper cover and the headlight surround was missing.
I think I am going to keep this stock as possible and keep tweaking my SE until my son is ready for his first car and then he can have this... Oh yeah and the exterior is silver.

Good plan there my man. Thats exactly what I did for my son. Gave him my old FB with stock crappola for now and when he is ready, he can drive the other FB with all the goodies.
Let me know what you need.
