Ok, I searched, and read alot of the articles, but there was still no definitive answer to this question. I have a 79 SA Missing 90 percent of the interior. I want to go to an s2 or maybe s3 interior. What will fit, I know for a fact, the dash will not fit, but what about everything else, like the shifter surround, the radio surround and all that? Also what about door panels for manual windows? Thanks in advance!

Mike - tell me that at least the DASH frame is in place! The PAD will fit from all 7s up to the end of 83. Likewise all the panels in there will swap with all SA/FB RX7s. Might be a few mount points for door panel handles from newer panels to a really early SA, but nothing you can't easily mod the inner door frame to accept.
Assuming your sticking with the SA tranny, then its more forward position of the shifter )and the hole in the floor) means only SA center console and its radio/heater/shift cover panels can be used. FB is completely diff shape that requires the later console - AND the FB tranny.
