Another E-Fan question, searched

well i searched and didnt really turn up any good info on what im wondering. I have an e fan off of a ford escort. Its shroud is to small to cover my entire -SE radiator. Does the shroud have to cover the radiator completely? If so i believe i can make a custom shroud, but does anyone have any advise on doing it?

I have a black magic 150 electric fan and it doesn't cover the entire radiator either but it works great. I think it comes down to how much air it can pull. If it can pull enough air it should be fine.

I'm thinking above 1800 cfm is the magic number...go get a shroud from an old pontiac and then trim to fit...
