another dent and I've lost count how many
I'm only posting this because its kind of a funny story...
went to subway on my break from work. the "sandwich artist" or whatever they are calling them now was very cool; he made up my 2 foot longs quick because he knew I had to get back; cool for a guy working at subway at any rate.
So I get back in the car and proceed to barrel monkey *** out of the parking lot. In reverse at a good clip to swing the nose around I come to pretty uprupt halt. My first thought was damn I just ran up on a huge curb, but no I had backed into a van. Well some redneck family stopping at the instant lottery outlet ran in and told the dude, like I was going to try and hit and run or something. The fat wife was like i think ya hit something and I had to serious bite my lip. Well well I just backed in the the sandwich artists moms minivan. ****! He hadjust given me free stamps because I gave him a cigarette and now I back into his ride.
I offered him my info, but he said his mom would never notice. Later I work I called the store and gave my number though. Just because I'm hoping to boost my karma or something.
The damage? A new dent on the flat part of my rear deck. I feel pretty bad about the whole situation, especially as nice as the guy was about the whole thing and I just remind myself it could have been alot worse lke if he had called the cops and been stuck there for an hour.
