amazing how much cleaning helps..

ok, when i originally got my fb, the interior was somewhat clean for being an 84, so i pulled the carpet out and took a pressure washer to it (i squirted very very little carpet cleaner that was in the car when i got it on the carpet) let it dry for like a week. here are the before and after. i dont think i need to buy a new front carpet, i do still need the entire rear subframe/bins/carpet though.. i also used some purple power on the engine bay, and cleaned up all that stuff, no pics though. turned out really good

anyway here are pics

nice! The tan is honestly the only S3 interior I can stand, but I'd put Cobra Daytona tan and black seats in there. Check 'em out, you'd dig them.

It's amazing how much 'fluffier' it looks, its a pain to do, but looks like it turned out really well!
A little leather conditioner on the seats and yer set!

thanks guys, yeah, i need some armoral or something for the seats, i dont have any right now, so its gonna have to wait. amazing thing is that ALL of my electronics work. some of the spots in the interior is faded (as you can see in some spots) im probably gonna try to get some dye or something and try to fix those spots. i only have one good floor mat (drivers side is worn/cracked) they are the original rx7 ones though. and i have to remove the fading in the rear, where the plastic turned whitish. when i saw the interior i go "im just glad it isnt red"

don't armoral the leather. thats bad stuff. use a nice 2 step cleaner and conditioner. i use a nice 2 step made by meguires on my 80 leather sport and i am VERY pleased. its really a night and day difference! your project really is taking off!! red interior is the devil! my SE and GSL have the red interior and parts are faded greeninsh brown. i like the grey the best. maybe throw another pic or two up.

my t2 is grey interior, i like it the best out of all the colors. i was lucky to have that a VERY clean interior. ill look into that meguires next time im in oreilly or autozone (probably friday). if i find a parts car with a good grey or black interior ill probably get it, other than that. im sticking with brown, too much of a pain in the *** to swap everything, short of having a donor car.

i do like the s2 interior, im jealous. would the s2 bolt into an s3 car?
