I know there are many "altenator swap" threads, but no thread about swapping an altenator from an FC (70 Amps) onto a SA.
I've got the altenator without the buildin regulator, I was told to unplug the regulator connector and just install the FC altenator and correctly install the wires. The downside is that the voltmeter in the RPM guage does not work anymore. Can I jump the wires from the old regulator connector to get the voltmeter back to work again?

Anything else I have to check before I swap these Alts?

I don't have the choke anymore and enviromental stuff, It's just for the electric fan.
