Alex's hookup :) And anyone else who wants to read it.

This was orginally posted in one of Manntis' threads, but I got to thinking maybe it needs to be posted here... You guys will see where I have been for a week or so. I havent been in here or on the net much

NOTE: Please dont give me man you need to get this thing tuned stuff, I am already well aware of this and the danger I present to myself and the car

Read on:

Well I have been doing some bad bad things I have been 'trying' to drive the car easy. But I think the car has race me plastered on it...

Im having some idleing issues, the stock coolant idle thingy ***** with my idle sometimes it idles at 1500, sometimes it idles at 900, sometimes it barely idles at all.

Tuned=just by me so far, i need it done professionally but 1000 miles ONE WAY ONLY is a long *** way, and thats trailering the car !... Ill figure something soon, i hope.

Speed=lets just put it this way the car has the ability to touch that 'i dont like 120 shake it normally has' It had tons left, was still pulling hard at 100.

Races=well lets just say I havent been exactly nice to the car... A turbocharged civic, a mustang cobra are some of the victims.

I keep saying this, but I have got to take it easy on this damn thing... It will do 16-17 psi no problem...

Lets talk premium gas and how much it likes it... It likes it more than I like dollar bills and a strip club

Well anyways, I never said anything about this stuff cause I dont wanna get that 'get it tuned flames' > If I blow the motor, big deal, its easy to get out Then I can get a SP, and then get it tuned proper like... Its only money right? LOL

Mike have you ever contacted the rotory doctor. He is neosho and should be able to tune it. He is good at what he does. Just a suggestion and i think neosho missouri would be closer plus i would ahve to come up and look at it. i think it is closer than 1000 miles.

jeez dude u trailored it for 5 miles to the exhaust shop, i did it for 300 miles from fort worth to lubbock. i was about to **** in my pants the whole way being overparanoid... i just kept thinking this senario: "woooo i finally bought my new car" look in rearview mirror after thinking this wonderful thought and see it back in the road and a bunch of cars swerving to miss it.... but it made it ok and its fine now i dont have to tow it anywhere thank goodness

@jr69187 So how do I contact this guy? Has he tuned turbos with a Haltech before? Does he have a dyno?

Sorry, I'm sure JR wasn't reading in what all you mean by tuning.

I bet if you post around enough for advice you can find someone. There are quite a few Haltech's on the road in KC, tuned by their owners, and a chassis dyno. That'd still be 500 miles. I bet there's a dyno and some talent somewhere closer yet!
