Alarm installed
Finally my alarm install is done. Ignition cut off, blue LED, blue LED Fobs, hazzard light tie in, custom fuse block for all RX-7 accesories, no in-line fuses. Even wired to the door switches. Its all done wih wire loom and hidden in the bins and whatnot.

Gotta get creative when installing **** like that.
One up it and integrate all the **** with factory wiring so it blends in like it's supposed to be there.
I just wouldn't be posting pics of my alarm install on a public forum...

"they break in and snip the wiring and it's done..."
not quite that simple..
most alarms these days have anti-tamper stuff, where if a wire is cut, the alarm goes off.
dont ask me how.. i just know it does

Kinda hard to have it go off if they cut the wire between the brain and the siren...
Hell, most brains consist of a simple black box with a large harness plugged into it, If you pull the entire harness, it's done...
Hence, inconspicuous install is best...
The bin install is good because A.) It's uncommon. B.) It's hard to get to due to the need to remove the bin...
I've seen installs where the brain is sealed to prevent condensation and placed INSIDE the ductwork, with the harness tying into the HVAC harness.

Trans tunnel works nicely. Behind the stereo. Steering column is good, but highly overused.
Bolt that down very securely. Get out and arm the alarm... Rump your car to see how sensitive it is... If it's too sensitive, adjust it... There's nothing more annoying than a false alarm caused by an acorn or thunderstorm..
