AJC13B has been sold

The money is going to a new house, there are no immediate plans for a car to replace the RX7, but time will tell

Thanks to everyone who has supported me during the build, through the highs and the lows and the bits in between

I will still be hanging around the forums though, you can't get rid of me that easy!

Steve

That's a shame, how much did you sell it for?

Well I guess since it's for a new house it's ok, otherwise I'd have to fly down to AU and knock some sense in to you. Is the person who bought it new to rotaries? Luky bastard

Did you get back what you invested?

sorry to hear that you got rid of it ... first Revhed, now you. and you recently built a motor for it, right?

but i guess if you did it for a house, then it was the right (or maybe the only) thing to do ...

good luck, mate!

i know you're probably not being serious, but be careful what you wish for ...

i used to say the same thing until it happened and all i have to say is living in an Rx-7 is NOT cool, and living in an MR2 is even less cool

I hope the new owner takes care of her like you did.
Will you get to have visitation rights?

Make sure the house has a big garage for a "future" project.

wow, this is a wierd message to be typing........

Please tell me that the person you sold it to was a true rotary enthusiast.....

I don't want some stupid boinger-freak to take that apart and drop a V8 into it or some **** like that.

The heritage of the community, and the only 10 sec 7 I've ever seen are important.... Sure, a house *is* important.... But... but.... just make sure she gets a good home is all I'm asking.

I hope to see the new owner on here, and I hope to god he appreciates what he bought.

Jon

Damn Steve, I hope the guy's owned some powerful cars before. Might be a bit of a shock when the thing comes on boost the first time.

That sort of thing doesn't happen over here. Besides, who in their right mind would tear apart a 10sec car like that.

That's the only 10sec RX-7 you've ever seen?

Ok...

What's so funny about that? I remember Steve saying the car was fully engineered for legality. Just because the headlight was missing on the track doesn't mean it was always like that.

The car was regularly driven and would have been daily driven if I had somewhere to park it for work except outside a local high school...

The new owner is a rotor fan and is planning to finish the car off with paint and a good interior

I will make sure I get pics as it progresses and keep you all in the loop

I honestly would sell mine too, if someone would want top buy it. Im kinda tired of messing with it, even tho its 90% complete.

Receipts total about 14k, id sell for $10k after I got it painted

Hope to still see you around tho Steve
