Airtex E8000 fuel pump install help

I have an Airtex E8000 fuel pump for the SE swap. Im having a heck of a time trying to figure out how to connect the outlet to the main supply hard line along the frame rail. Thread is m12 1.0. If you remove the threaded fitting via the 18mm nut the other side is a m8 1.25 (5/16).

I have the stock PD hose fitting, but no PD.

How the heck do you rig this thing up? Ive heard of several people using it so I know it can be done.

I did this not too long ago. You use the stock parts as I recall. The pump installs the exact same way. The tank inlet connects to a rubber hose and the outlet has the stock pipe attached with the pulsation dampener screwed in place with copper crush washers between the pipe and pulsation dampener. Be careful not to bend the pipe and crack it.

I ended up removing the threaded outlet and retapping it to 5/16"x18 and using a 5/16" NPT barb. Pump is installed and ready to go. Just waiting on some AN fitting adapters to connect the IST and it will be ready to drive.

BTW I dont have the PD part of the stock pump. As I recall the stock pump has a female threaded outlet doesnt it? I threw the stocker out because it was burned out.

I ended up buying a new OEM Mazda pump from Mazdatrix. The Airtex is for sale if anyone wants it. Make me an offer.

Mystery may be solved

The airtex E8000 could be an in tank pump because if you look up an airtex 8260 pump it is external but it is almost twice the price. Has two Barb fittings which is correct.
