air pump removal question!

If your removing the air pump, just do the entire rats nest too... follow the rats nest removal guide found in the FAQ at the top of the page. You'll need to make only 1 block off plate to remove the air pump stuffs. It's quite simple, really - and my car ran MUCH better after removing the emmissions crap. No more backfiring or rough idle.

If removing the air pump I believe you will need to run a different cat that can take the heat of the rotary ( if you have to pass emissions ) and will not get clogged quickly. If I am not mistaken the air pump has a great dela to do with maintaining the cat.
