air pump questions on an 83
I have been reading up and have read that thermal reactors were only on 79-80 rx7's. My Rx7 is an 83 and has no cats so does that mean it would do no harm to remove the air pump nothing is going to overheat and it will only do good to remove it? thanx in advance

You'd be safe to remove the airpump. Just remember to block off the hoses left. If you're doing that you may as well remove the rats nest, ACV, etc as described in Pratch's howto here on the forum. It's a world of difference after removing all that stuff and the engine bay looks much better.

Yup. If you want to save $60 in printer ink, we don't think a $5 donation is out of line. Carl spent the time to do the work, I spent the time to take photos and put it all in pdf form. If you think our time is worthless I'm sure you can figure out what I think of you
