Air Pump Question
I recently got a dual belt alternator pulley, and Im going to take off the air pump. By doing this, will I have any problems?
And one other thing, I read that another person on this forum uses his air pump to power his secondaries. What does that do, and how can I go about doind so?
Thanks alot, ahead of time.

Absolute Power is Awesome
The air pump is used to add fresh air to the catalytic converter, rotarys typically run rich and need the extra oxygen for oxidizing CO to CO2, and HCs to H2Os and CO2s. Removing it will probably keep you from passing any kind of emissions test both for emissions level and visual inspection. I can't see that it would cause any damage to the cat, it just wouldn't be able to clean up the CO and HCs in your exhaust.
If you don't have a 6-port 13b engine, you don't have any secondaries to open.

They're not using it to open the secondaries, atleast I have never heard of this. They're using the air pump to open the 5th and 6th ports on the 6port engine.
