air pump minus acv ?

can you hook up the airpump directly to a cat, without the use of the acv?
anything special that would need to be done to do this?

(this setup willnot be used for daily driving, only smog purposes.)

Id like to know this also... It would make things much easier come emission time, not having to put everything back to how it was..

Yes, you can connect it directly. You will need to connect a hose that is long enough to go from the air pump air exit into the pipe that connects to the cat. The one that has the bypass so no gases come back to the air pump.

This setup works much better than going trough the acv and will pass emmissions as long as you have the air pump connected to the main cat and the cat is working properly...
