I love how the model car on the auction has a dented to hell fender. I prefer stock to that air dam, but it doesn't look bad.

That's just another ripoff of the Mariah dam. ISC, etc., have made similar ripoffs for years. Not a bad deal, but I'd rather buy one from somebody who I know makes high-quality stuff.

Mariah isn't the only one who sold that "type" of airdam. I had one on my SE years ago and it was from "Pacific". Mazdatrix has the same one on it's website also. Anyone know who originally designed this piece?

I have an air dam just like that new, in a box. I think I paid like $300 or so from Impact Parts.

that air dam actually was a factory piece sold by the dealer, except the original was 3 piece urethane. i just got that part actually, can't wait to install it. right now, its just sitting there, pretendingi to be on the car. haha looks nice.

as far as i've seen, the cheapest place to get it is ISC. $179 plus ship (pretty sure)

Mazdatrix sells that entire kit, front sides and rear wrap. As far as I know it's still available. It looks just like the Erubuni (sp) kit to me, maybe they all used the same mold

The one you are looking at is only offered in fiberglass I think. The one on my car is urethane. The shape is strait down w/ a subtle lip. And, btw, if you hit a stop, it will crack the paint, & f u up.

Is the Mariah Motorsports Mode 4 airdam made of fiberglass or urethane? Although it's pricey, I think that's the one for me.

yea, i can attest to this as i had that exact bumpus when i first got my car. paint chipped everywhere due to debri and i had two massive chips off of each corner from minor scraping. i would only rock that bumpus again if i had it in urethane. fuuuuck some fiberglass.

where can a brother get that style in urethane? that is what i want, but since drifting and racing and what not, fiberglass would suck.
