aftermarket race seats

ok i just got my buddy club race seats in today, and realized that contrary to what a friend told me they are the type that need a side mount style slider, anyway anyone now a good source for these, also i think fc sliders are supposed to fit in our car...at least the stock ones....if so would aftermarket sliders made for the fc work for the fb???? help please i wanna get these in, anyway thanks to anyone that can help

I ended up making my own slider/mounts from the stockers and just cutting/drilling/welding them till they fit.

i wish i could do that....first no experience with that kind of stuff second if i could im in the air force in training and have almost now where to work on my car or stuff for my car, i can only do what i can with a jack and basic tool set pretty much

go to a muffler shop, or a machinist and get them to re-work your stock sliders. do NOT try and ghetto this. if you get in a accident you want those seats to hold.

thanks for the advise paradox, yeah i dont like to do ghetto anything on my car for the most part, especially when it comes to saftey, anyway my question about the rumor that fc brackets are the same or at least fit in fb's still there, i might be wrong but i know a coiuple of ppl said the fc seats bolted to fb sliders for sure, just wondering about the brackets

FC rails do fit into the FB, but depending on the year combinations, some slight modifications to hole locations may be required. Hopefully, whatever you do doesn't raise the new seats too high.

You can quite easily use FD seats with FB rails, that's what I'm running. Just takes a bit of skill with a welder.
