Advice on Fuel Sytem Upgrade needed

Thanks in advance for any advice guys....

I understand that the typical choices are the Walbro fuel pump with a Holley fuel pressure regulator when it comes to upgrading. But a couple of questions...

1. Where's the best (read "cheapest") place to order these.
2. Who makes a fuel pressure gauge that will actually read accurately at low pressures like ours.

I am making this upgrade because I seem to be a little lean at higher RPMs, and in preparation for a Sterling carb (hopefully this summer).

I'm going to enter my 1st Auto-X in 3 weeks, so I really would like to get this done. Thanks again for any help/advice...

Do a search n00b!

With that out of the way, summitracing is a good place to order. On an accurate gauge, buy it from yawpower.com. Not cheap, but accurate.

Well, I'm gonna have to take that back I think. I just went to Yawpower and I have read that article before, but no exact info on what type to get. He just goes on about how important it is to use an accurate gauge, which is why I posted this thread.

I'm looking for a specific model or a link if possible. But the gauge HAS to be accurate at these pressures, just like Yaw states...

Oh snap, I guess Paul changed the website, before one could order the gauge. E-mail him and ask him if he still sells them.

Yeah, I seem to help Carlos out with invaluable information and he thanks me by calling me noob! Well, then again now that I think about it it's kind of a two way street....

Carlos, don't call back until you've got something I can use!
