Adjustable Rear Perches

I am looking to do some adjustable rear perches similar to what Respeed used to sell and was wondering if these would work:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/aa...6119/overview/

I would use a similar spring to what respeed sold which was a 5" ID and 8" long. How low does the car sit with just those springs? Does the adjustable perch sit on top or below the spring? Is 1.75" of adjustability enough?

Thanks

Ive got the re-speed ones and 150lb springs. They look like the pic in the link you posted so have maybe 4-5" of adjustment, which is necesary imo. Full low is too low - looks cool, tyres inside the guards a bit (205/50/15 ) but geometry up the ****. Ive got mine on about halfway which is still low. I have the perches on top of the spring and the stock isolater on top of the perch.
Im guessing if they are only 1,75" then unless you want stupid low you might want taller springs or a thicker after market isolater/spring spacer.

ya the add says adjustability is 0-1.75". Anyone know where to get ones with more adjustability? These are the only ones I have been able to find for a 5" ID spring.

I guess I don't get it. Looks like a smaller diameter spring but that wouldn't fit on the axle seat.

Austin you really need to stop posting my **** on here...

It is a common 2.5" diameter spring. I welded a tube on top of the axle spring perch that the adjustable sleeve slides over. I went with 2.5" springs and raised the upper spring perch on the body so I could experiment with a variety of spring rates/lengths once this car is back together. There aren't a whole lot of 5" diameter springs/adjusters available, and there was rust around my stock spring perches so it made sense for me to do it this way.

so no one knows where to get adjustable perches other than the ones I posted??? I guess I'll just have to look harder cause I don't think 1.75" of adjustability is enough.

Not that I'm aware of which is why I decided to convert mine to 2.5" springs. Get almost limitless options for spring length and rates, plus there like 5" of adjustment in my sleeves.

B-DOG248 do you have a link? I didn't see anything looking through smileys website. I also called Summit yesterday and the one's I posted in my original post are not for 5" ID springs, they are for 5" OD springs.

I can't find any springs either
