TN Accelration Problem and im tired of it might just rebuild

Okay i have all the power in the world till i get to about 5000-6000 rpm then it hesitates.Do you guys know what my problem is or should i just rebuild.

Carb rebuild? Timing correct? Fuel delivery - filter, pump, etc...

When is the last time you replaced your fuel filter. That would be the simplest reason for your car to do this. As mentioned above, there are a few other likely causes too...

As Kentetsu mentioned above, you should start by replacing the fuel filter. When I first got my 7 it was pointless for me to red line it, since I didn't have much acceleration at that point, and only did it a couple of times just to see if the buzzer worked. lol Then when I was replacing the rear brakes I replaced the fuel filter and it made a world of differences. Keep in mind that if your car is fairly stock you will probably notice that the acceleration tends to drop off just over the red line anyways due to things like the fuel pump and air intake not being able to keep up.

If that doesn't resolve the problem I would recommend changing the air filter and then check the fuel pump. That way you can eliminate the simple things first then work your way up to the more complicated things.
