AC Setup for 1982 RX-7 purchase

Hi all,

About to be a new RX-7 owner... buying a 1982, ad here:

1982 Mazda Rx7- Tastefully Modified - $2999 (S Mpls) - CraigslistAdSaver

A/C was removed/sold, so I'll need to source a compressor, condenser, dryer, hoses, brackets, etc... although still has the evaporator under the dash.

Looking for general comments/concerns about the car, and also advice regarding how challenging it will be to get the air conditioning found/installed.

Much appreciated, and glad to be here!

Congrats and Welcome-
AC - have you checked the For Sale 1st Gen forum here? There is/was a member there selling most of a brand new AC kit there. Or post a "parts wanted" there too.
As to general comments, well, tough to know what to start with. Generally great cars but obv buyer-beware with damaged or worn-out engines, usual mechanical maladies of old sports car and check for rust. We can get more specific if you can!

The condensor, dryer and hoses may be available new through the usual parts suppliers (autozone rockauto etc) or via mazdatrix or adkins. The rest will have to be sourced via used parts or getting
generic and making it work.
