It was raining a week ago and my compressor wont come on I tried to refill the system twice checked fuse I ran a wire from the positive battery post to the compressor and it cut on also the wire has power so I'm thinking it could be the ac switch anybody had this issue ?

 

It may think its over or under pressurized. There a switch on the hardline going into the firewall that kicks the compressor on and off base on the pressure ( at least I think ).

Yes, there will be a two wire pressure switch. No/low pressure means the AC shuts down. Low gas means low oil so to protect the compressor the switch shuts down the system
