AC idle sensor..........?

Hey

Where is the sensor that increases the idle when the AC comes on? Mine does not increase.....rather goes down to almost stalling out......... cant find my my books........

Based on your profile, I assume you have an SE. If so, the A/C idle compensator is attached to the BAC and can be adjusted with a slot screwdriver (it's to the rear of the BAC) - you can also test it by suppling power to the leads running to it - should hear a distinct "click" when power applied. You can also revome it from the BAC and clean it with carb cleaner if it's gummed up. There's an article on this
