AC on - idle not kicking up

It is getting warm enough in ATL to get the AC working again. I did my normal recharge and the AC is blowing cold. However, the idle is not kicking up when the AC comes on. The AC (white) selenoid seams to be working correctly. I tested per the shop manual. But I never get any vacuum to the idle compensator diaphragm. I did rebuild the carb over the winter. So all the vacuum lines have been off and I replaced the vacuum check valves (little green and white plastic pieces in the vacuum lines) with some generic check valves. I am just going to start working backward through the rats nest to try to figure out where the vacuum is suppose to come from.

Anyone have a suggestion on where to look next?
