ok, just to clear it up, if i get a s4 trans, it WILL fit without cutting right? I really would rather buy another trans then cut up my interrior... i put a lot of time into the interrior... the 3/4" bar trick should work right?

As far as I know, that doesn't look like a NA transmission. NA ones are more or less the same then those in our first gens (S2-3). Actually, I have a S4 one standing next to a S3 (I pulled both from complete cars so I'm sure they are correct) and can't tell the difference when they are next to eachother.
All transmissions would basicly bolt on, as rear housings are all the same bolt pattern (even those on RX-8's) but you'd need the matching flywheel, I guess.
I still only have a TII engine, no gearbox yet, so I can't help a lot with mounting etc. That's my next problem in the swap...
