You need a SE fuel tank and pump.

If you are going to keep any kind of fuel injection, you definately need another fuel pump.

If you are going to go with a blow-thru system, then you can get away with an SE fuel pump. Unless your car is already an SE, that might be waste of time.

As far as the wiring goes, - keep in mind your Power Goals. If you plan to keep a relatively stock TII setup (which is plenty) - then you can save alot of time, money, and tuning by using the stock TII ECU. Check the 1st Gen Archives, theres many different threads on this. Including this one: https://www.rx7club.com/1st-gen-archive-71/wiring-how-factory-1987-t2-ecu-into-1st-gen-695735/

If you want to do a blow-thru setup, the wiring will be almost nothing, and the car will be capable of decent power, as long as the rest of the system is balanced.

If you are going for serious power (over 300rwhp), then you cannot use the stock ECU, and must go with a carb setup, or an aftermarket ECU.

You simply have too many variables in your question for a reliable answer.
I suggest you keep reading a bit, especially in the archives, so you can get an idea of all the different setups available, and which would be best for you.

OP, don't know if this help you but my plan goes as follows:

S5 TII block and trans
RTek'd ECU (just to spare me the pain of installing a Haltech)
BnR stage 2 OR GT35R turbo (after break in period)
800cc/1600c injectors (need to crunch injector numbers to see if they mesh with turbo plans)
Walbro fuel pump, SE tank
Coilover suspension
RESpeed steering box upgrade

It's the little things that kill you and thank god, I won't have too many little things, since I'm installing the whole S5 engine harness and ignition.

well ive done some of the swap and my suggestion is dont do it unless you dont care about the car at all if you have like 10 grand and all the parts and a new harness cause you can not use the old ecu at all go with microtech or something they work great

Wouldn't u only do it if you cared alot about the car. Investing that kind of money and time and not caring about it seems a little foolish. And you can use the S4 and S5 ECU's with some difficulty.

If you have trouble with wiring then this swap is not for you. Look through swap threads that exist already

I grabbed a S5 TII harness, all sensors and coils. Then I wired it into a Power FC. This is not for the faint if heart though. A stand-alone w/ a full harness would be a lot easier.

I hate to beat this question to death, but I too am doing this swap ('87 TII engine, tranny, custom driveshaft, into '85 GSL) Everything has been taken care of so far; switching front cover, oil pan, and fuel pump etc., Ive done a little wiring in the past, but I havent got to figuring out how to power up the '87 TII ecu and stuff that the lack of harnesses in the '85 GSL doesnt. Ive read about constucting a '15 wire' harness, which is fine, but does anyone have a diagram of what goes where. It'll be worth something to me if someone can come up with a diagram. This is the last thing I need to do for this project...
