85 No fuel in main line

Had a small wreck in my 85 a few years ago. Car has been in storage since. Brought it out this summer. Its started and ran fine. I removed the front bumper, some of the lower cowling, the driver's headlight in an effort to remove all damaged parts. Now, the car will start with the assistance of ether, but will not remain running. With the key on and in the start position (cranking), I am getting no fuel at all from the main fuel line.

Any ideas? Is there a ground or some sort of safety in the bumper area that I could have removed when taking off the damaged parts? I know the 84 and 85 are slightly different in how the fuel pump is supplied power, but I can't seem to find the problem.

Thanks,

Run 12v directly to the pump and see if it works.

Any suggestions on finding that fuel cut relay? I've seen small pictures, but it looks just like a lot of other little black boxes under the dash.

It's just under the dash where your right knee is where the dash and center console meet. Six prong rely. There are several posts in the first gen section on this.

before spending money on relays (even though that's probably the issue) I agree with running 12v directly to the pump to see if it's a bad pump or not.

if it runs, then look into the relay imo

a new fuel filter wouldn't hurt either I mean, since you'll be down there next to it anyway.

Definitely replace the fuel filter...could be clogged after running after storage.
