My buttons just died...

The ones that control the A/C, vent etc. I went through all the fuses, everything is fine. Checked with a multimeter as well, no shorts, over voltage etc. Any ideas where to look?

 

I had this problem too, and it was a fuse. There is one fuse for just the A/C that is vertical and not in the two rows with all the other fuses under the dash. It is in the same box, but it is vertical and along the right side with all the spares...

EDIT: I'm assuming you didn't see the A/C fuse either, so if you did and checked it I have no idea how to help
