85 GSL-SE something is shot (clutch)

Recently I rebuilt the Master Cylinder and the Slave Cylinder because the Master was leaking. I bled the system and the car drove well for about three days. I was on a road trip and stopped for gas multiple times with no problems. When I was pulling off the Interstate for the night I had no clutch. Pulled it out of fifth and rev matched down to second and crawled it through the stop signs in town. The only way that I can now drive the car is when I put it in first and start it up. When I disengage the clutch I hear a slight grinding. That is all. What do you think is the problem. I think it might be the throw-out bearing.

Pleas give me some advice.

Right now I am in Lompoc, CA.

I rebuilt my slave cylinder also, and about 2-3 months down the road it was leaking bad and never noticed it... until I got to a meet and my gears grinded... got back into the car and it would not engage gears.

Moral of the story, rebuilds are for motors. Get new parts.

Hope this helps!

I double checked and pedal pressure is good. There seems to be good movement on the slave cylinder. I think I am going to have to drop the tranny and take a look inside.
