85 GSL-SE 13b-egi to 83 GS 12a engine swap

I've looked through endless searches and I haven't come across a sufficient write up on what I am looking for. I have an 85 gsl-se 13b that I want to put into my 83 gs 12a. Can someone point me in the right direction to a specific post or information that will help guide the way and answer questions that I may have reguarding this swap?

I know what you may be thinking why not just drive the 85 right? It has no title and has been wrecked. The 83 has certain sentimental value between my brother and I and we would like to build it together.

Here's a post from me, on my build thread, about the most helpful links I've found on the forum about doing a swap from 12a to 13b. I know it's all for a TII swap, but it should be pretty universal info :icon_tup:

Thank you. It seems that I will have some material to look over and apply to my own project. Now if I can just find a good enough reason to tell the wife to let me back into the garage.
