Cool 85 gsl-se

I just got the car that I had always wanted. This 85gslse is cherry only has 65,000 original miles on it. It has only one owner and I can't wait to pick it up this weekend. I am wondering if I can ask you experts some questions on my car. First, the volt guage moves between 11-13 volts when my blinker is on. I tried to turn other electrical switches on and the volt guage stays at around 13. Is this normal? Also, my passanger side window seem to be a little sluggish going up and down compared to the driver side. All other electrical components seem to be in working order. Thanks in advance.

Yeah, the volt gauge bouncing around a small amount it normal, and I even have a brand new alternator and battery in my car, lol. In the 4 that i have, they all do that, including my 85 GSL-SE . The window probably just needs to be lubed up. You can take the door panel off and lube up all the pivot points on it. Theyre kinda hard to get to while its in car, but if you take it out, you can get to all of them really easy. Ive heard people us silocone grease? Or is it spray? Or white lithium grease? I dont know, I hear so much I dont remember whats what...Someone here knows.

Ya, I used silicone spray on my window tracks on my SE and it helped alot. When I got the car you had to help the window up, I sprayed the silicone in the tracks once let is soke up and sprayed them again later on and they worked fine. Also you might want to check the alinement (sp) of your tracks. Enjoy your 7.
