85 GSL 13b motor Mount

Im going to put a 13b NT in my 85 GSL.
Does anyone have a drawing and dimentions for the motor mount bracket that i will need to make?

Just made one, what you do is take the old one and copy it, but making the places where the motor mounts longer. What you want to do is, make the mount so it mounts the motor 3/4" towards the front.

Word of caution dont make the mount get to close to the motor or it will hit...

Its a pain in the *** and the $90 mazdatrix charges for one is probally worth it in the end...

also will the muffler from the 12a work for now? (without cats)

Dont see why not, but exhaust is my last issue with mine. Its all gonna be custom 3" back...

Stock muffler should be fine as it'll fit the car without having to do extra mods for now. Get it running then hoook up a custom exhaust

you can always bend the stock one forward if nessecary. i tried that but i just went for a new racingbeat one that was discounted due to a scratch .

HELP!!!!!

I ordered the mount from mazdrix and it doesnt fit!!!!
i have an 86 13b and the mounts are different!!!
what should i do????
any suggestions??

You need to use the old engine's front cover.

Uh the only thing that the new mount does is move the motor forward 3/4" ... Thtas it, refer to the PM I sent you on the install of this motor And when in doubt theres a SHITLOAD of info covered in here already... Then If another questions arise we are here to try and help
