Well, in my experience, Brembo is THE name in brakes. Usually, any 'ricer' brand of brakes is actually manufactured by Brembo, they're that good (historically). So, I guess, from a logical, historical standpoint, go with the brembos if they're the same price.

A word of caution with reference to Brembo brake rotors. There are Brembo rotors which have what Brembo calls Pillar venting & Brembo rotors have the part number & Brembo logo stamped on the outside of the rotor. Check the Brembo site for the vent details. When I went through this Brembo **** with my parts house he couldn't beleive all the Brembo rotor bullshit. I also talked to Brembo about the knock off bullshit & they aggreeded it a fact of life. If the rotor has anything like "made in Japan" stamped on the rotor hub it's not a Brembo rotor. The REAL Brambo rotors cost me around $30 each for the front & the rear was similar in cost. There is another rotor that comes in a Brembo box that is not a Brembo rotor (it has vane venting). There is also a Brambo rotor that comes in a red/white box knock off from China.
