85 gs axle help!!!!!!!!!

I have an 85 gs and I bought a 85 gsl pumpkin with lsd. I was told I need to shave off about an 1/8 of an inch off the axle end so I dont ruin the gsl lsd. Is that true? I really need so info on this.

Never heard of that one. I have an 85 GS and did a GSL rear end swap. Simple swap, nothing to "shave" at all. Where did you here about this?

Well, I heard this "shaving" the rear axles from Jay from ground control.

85 gs axles should slide right into that 85 gsl pumkin with no modification.
